I am looking for a Mate. This is a Full-Time position. The start date is 01 Jul 2026. The position is in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, USVI. Candidate must have one of the given visa(s): B1/B2. The salary for this opportunity depends on experience. This is a Marshall Islands flagged charter and private vessel that is 111' to 144' (34 to 44 meters) in length.
Here are the qualifications needed for this job opening: Yacht Master Offshore, STCW, ENG1, Padi Dive Master, Big Tender driving and fishing experience, Mechanical knowledge a plus.
This is the likely itinerary for this vessel: Caribbean, Bahamas, US East Coast. We are ISO of a Mate/Dive Master joining our crew. Looking for someone who has charter experience on similar sized yachts and who can handle the stresses of short turnarounds and sometime difficult guests. We have approx 5 - 6 weeks owners use during the year. We need someone who can handle a big tender and has some fishing knowledge. You must be comfortable to take guests diving and be able to maintain all the dive equipment onboard.
