This is a team position. Primary position is First Officer/Chief Mate. The other position is Deck/Steward(ess).This is a Full-Time position. This job starts ASAP. The position is in Miami, FL, USA. Candidate must have one of the given visa(s): US Passport/GreenCard. For this opportunity, the salary is 7000. This is a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines flagged private vessel that is 111' to 144' (34 to 44 meters) in length.
Here are the qualifications needed for this job opening: STCW II/3 or YM coastal.
This is the likely itinerary for this vessel: South Florida and Bahamas.. 42m private yacht, currently switching to private with limited charter. We are foreign flagged, but require all crew to be US citizen or green card holders. This is a couples position with either a deck/stew. Mate must hold the following certifications: - STCW - Valid medical - Ability to pass pre-employment drug test - Ability to pass pre-employment background check - STCW II/3 or YM coastal We are a south Florida based boat currently running with 5-6 full time crew due to light usage. As we do trips and gear up for charter, we are bringing on more crew. Owner trips typically consist of out and backs to the Bahamas about 8 times per year. We do have Bermuda on our schedule for 2027. The company provides the following: - Health insurance - Dental insurance - Vision insurance - Life insurance - 401k with employee matching - AD & D insurance - and more Our program has been a quiet one over the years offering crew the ability to be home most nights. Granted once we enter the charter market, our schedule will pick up from what were used to currently.
