Deckhand – Multi-Vessel Program (43–115 ft) Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Position Type: Full-time, strictly land-based (shoreside only – no live-aboard) We are seeking a hands-on, reliable Deckhand to support the day-to-day maintenance and management of our multi-vessel fleet in Fort Lauderdale. This is a shore-based role focused on keeping our vessels (ranging from 43 ft to 115 ft) in top condition through proactive care, mechanical upkeep, and operational support. Responsibilities • Execute routine deck and vessel care, including wash-downs, waxing, polishing, and full detailing • Assist with rigging, outfitting, and general vessel maintenance • Handle lines and support safe, professional docking and undocking procedures • Collaborate closely with the captain on technical and maintenance projects • Participate in special projects such as sanding, painting, and varnishing • Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo, supplies, and equipment • Monitor vessel systems and equipment; promptly report any issues or malfunctions to the Captain • Support maintenance and improvement projects at our associated Florida properties as needed • Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and servicing of vessels and onboard equipment\ Requirements • 3–5 years of relevant experience in boat maintenance, or vessel management • Must live within 30 minutes of Fort Lauderdale, FL • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder • Physically active, hardworking, reliable, and a strong team player • Reliable transportation Compensation: Starting at $250.00 per day Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards across a fleet of vessels in a fast-paced, land-based environment.
