Chef--40m Private Motor Yacht (US Flagged) Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL, then Bahamas/Exumas Start date: October 20 Salary: $7,000/month Crew: 6 Program: Private with a few charters per year About the position A 40m private motor yacht is looking for an experienced Chef to join in Fort Lauderdale on October 20. The yacht will head to the Bahamas and Exumas, with the owners arriving onboard November 2 and staying through Christmas. A Christmas and New Year's charter is already booked. The previous Chef was onboard for 4 years, so the yacht is looking for someone who wants a long-term home. The role Prepare healthy, fresh, Mediterranean-style cuisine for the owners Cook high-quality meals for the crew Provide fine dining for charter guests when required The program Roughly half the time at anchor, half in the marina Planned yard period in April/May Possible 3-month trip to Costa Rica afterward Requirements Previous yacht experience (required) Legally authorized to work on a US-flagged vessel Interest in a long-term position
