Private Chef — Malibu Household Overview A private household in Malibu is seeking an experienced private chef to join their team on a recurring part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef with a strong background in personal/private chef work who is comfortable with a high level of discretion and professionalism. Responsibilities Plan and prepare weekly dinners and lunches for the household Accommodate a range of dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free preferences Prepare kid-friendly meals alongside adult meals (children in the home have different dietary needs than the adults) Occasionally support last-minute entertaining/dinner party requests Manage grocery shopping/ingredient sourcing for chef-prepared meals Maintain flexibility around portion sizes and presentation style as requested by the household Requirements Must have prior experience working as a private/personal chef (restaurant-only experience will not be considered) Comfortable working in a private residence with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion Willing to sign an NDA Experience cooking for households with mixed dietary requirements (vegan, gluten-free, and standard/kid-friendly) Reliable, flexible, and able to accommodate occasional schedule changes Willing to travel for work periodically (details shared upon further discussion) Schedule Part-time, recurring days per week (specific schedule to be discussed with qualified candidates) Compensation Competitive pay, commensurate with experience Structure (hourly or day rate) to be discussed based on candidate background
