Seasonal Junior Deckhand Job in Southampton, NY, USA

Job Summary: Barton & Gray (B&G) is hiring Dock Support team members for the Summer 2025 Season. This full-time seasonal position will work directly with the B&G’s captain team to support the day to day needs of the port including vessel cleaning and coordination of onboard provisions. This position will work with multiple departments within B&G to facilitate the port running smoothly and ensure a high quality member experience. Responsibilities: - Assist captains with removing mooring covers. - Assist captains with the turnover and cleaning of boats in between watches. - Prepare boats for scheduled outings. - Maintain cleanliness of the yachts: wash, polish chrome, clean teak floors, clean engine compartments, replace oil sorbs as needed. - Other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities: - Must have reliable transportation for use during work day, eligible for mileage reimbursement. - Evening, weekend and holiday availability required. - Strong organization and communication skills. - Ability to work on a team and independently. - Ability to move into and out of small spaces that may require crouching, kneeling or crawling - Ability to lift 25+ pounds. Education and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
