Description
I am looking for a Mate. This is a Permanent position. This job starts ASAP. The position is in Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA. Candidate must have one of the given visa(s): B1/B2, US Passport/GreenCard. The salary for this opportunity depends on experience. This is a Bahamas flagged charter and private vessel that is 80' to 110' (25 to 33 meters) in length.
Here are the qualifications needed for this job opening: Mate/Captain’s License, mechanical skills (AEC preferred), strong tender/towing, Bahamas knowledge and fishing.
This is the likely itinerary for this vessel: Florida and Bahamas only (private and some charter). Tentatively one summer in Canada/Great Lakes for owner.
This position offers a work/life balance when vessel is in Fort Lauderdale - typically 8-4 M-F with most weekends off. Vessel is a 107’, 200GT, Bahamas-flagged motor yacht. Must be organized, hard-working, have a strong attention to detail, and be a team player. Must be legal to work in US and pass background/drug tests. Thank you!
