Description

Exiting opportunity for an experienced Chef, can be new to yachting, but must have 3 - 5 years culinary experience to join our team onboard our modern explorer vessel. The successful Chef candidate will have experience preparing healthy meals for family owners, guests (typically 2 - 4), and six crew. Formal culinary training and a minimum of 5 years actual hospitality and culinary experience is required. The right candidate will be a person who is creative with food, enjoys designing and preparing great menus and is passionate about working in a team. The position works closely with the Chief Stewardess to plan menus as well as provision the yacht for guest trips. You will also be expected to assist the crew from time to time with basic on deck tasks. The captain and crew enjoy working as a team and helping each other to ensure high levels of service in a comfortable and enjoyable work environment. The Chef will be responsible for the provisioning budget, all meal preparation and delivery, and galley organization and maintenance.
