Temporary 2nd Engineer Jobs on Charter in Tromsø, Norway

I am looking for a 2nd Engineer. This is a Temporary position. The start date is 25 Jul 2024. The position is in Tromsø, Norway. For this opportunity, the salary is 6500 Eur. This is a Marshall Islands flagged charter vessel that is 211' to 275' (65 to 84 meters) in length.

Candidate ideally is from a commercial back ground with good watch keeping experience. The vessel is of a refit design and fitted with 2 stroke Main Engines and John Deere generators. Candidate will need to be able to work independently and support the First Engineer in running of the engine room and required maintenance. Responsibilities will include refrigeration, generators and hydraulic systems. First half of the trip will be on charter and then progress to yard work once the vessel has relocated in September. Position is initially until the end of September with the potential to extend.
