I am looking for a Chief Steward(ess). This is a Rotational position. The start date is 25 Jul 2024. The position is in San Diego, CA, USA. Candidate must have one of the given visa(s): B1/B2. The salary for this opportunity depends on experience. This is a Cayman Islands flagged charter and private vessel that is 145' to 175' (45 to 53 meters) in length.

Here are the qualifications needed for this job opening: All certs up to date 5+ years of relevant experience in yachting 1+ years experience in a similar position or a very experienced 2nd stew .
This is the likely itinerary for this vessel: West Coast Based boat - Plans to be in San Diego for a yard period, Possible Mexico in winter and summers in BC and Alaska.

Rotational (2:2) Chief stew Required on a 48 meter Private motor yacht, The boat has recently sold to new owners who are excited about their new boat and therefore use it quite often. There is a big interior plans for 2025 so someone who has shipyard experience will be beneficial. We are looking for someone who can handle a dynamic program and roll with changes, positive and upbeat and able to lead the team with respect, kindness and by example. There are plans for the boat to be available for charter possibly in Mexico, however no confirmed charters have been booked as yet. The boat has been set up and we require someone who can come in and fit into the current interior systems, that isn't looking to reinvent the wheel, it is very important to current chief stew that her rotational counterpart runs everything in the same way. There will be a handover with current Chief Stew before she goes on her rotation in August. Ideally Candidates will already be in the US Due to cabin arrangements we will only be open to female candidates.
