Description
US flagged seeking committed Engineer/Mate (115-43ft) for Multi-Program Vessels - located in Fort Lauderdale, FL – this is strictly a land-based position. Responsibilities: • Operation Maintenance and Repair, of all mechanic electrical and electronic equipment on board the vessels • Coordinating with the Captain all the planned maintenance schedules • Will assist with maneuvering, line and fender handling, anchor handling, tender launching, and operating • For all aspects of engine room mechanical and cosmetic • Will work with the Captain to train, inform, and drill the crew in any safety procedures • Assist with the rigging and maintenance of the vessel • Handle lines and assist with docking and undocking procedures • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on the deck - Wash downs - Waxing - Polishing - Detailing • Assist Captain with projects • Assist with Special projects - Sanding - Painting • Varnish experience • Assist with projects of FL properties Requirements: • 3-5 years experience • Live within 30 minutes of Fort Lauderdale • Transportation provided • US citizen or Green Card Holder • No-live aboard • Active • Hardworking • Team Player • Reliable
