Here are the qualifications needed for this job opening: Dive certifications & fishing experience preferred as the owners love to dive/eat fresh fish and like the deck crew to come with. Must be able to manage a 36’ tender and towing operations.Have knowledge of engine room operations or/and willingness to learn. Have knowledge in deck operations/maintenances (products,chemicals,waxing etc) Please bring a positive attitude and work ethic..

Mate/Engineer position aboard a Tri deck US Flag. Male or Female. This position will start as freelance but can go permanent for the right candidate. Runs with a crew of 5- Short trip to Bahamas upcoming. Only 2 guests on board. Little to no water sports, heavy on tender excursions focusing on fishing, diving, snorkeling etc. Growth and stability in program, long term yacht owners offering A1++ compensation package after probationary period. Compensation package well above industry averages. Opportunity to grow as owners are looking to go up in size. References will be checked. No drama boat, there will be plenty of support. Open to Bosuns, Lead Deckhands or Deck/engineers with attributes listed above (long time Captain/engineer happy to train the right candidate to grow). Exciting itinerary ahead with talks of going through the Panama Canal.
