I am looking for a Chef. This is a Permanent position. The start date is 25 Jul 2022. The position is in USA-Atlantic. The preferred experience level for this position is 2 Year - 5 Year. The salary for this opportunity depends on experience. This is a Cayman Islands flagged charter and private vessel that is 100' to 149' (31 to 45 meters) in length.

This is the likely itinerary for this vessel: Fort Lauderdale / New England. Rockstar Chef needed for the best owners onboard a 40m classic yacht Male due to Cabin arrangements Foreign Flagged vessel Private with light charter (2/3 charters per year) Fort Lauderdale base for the Winter with once-a-month trips with the Owners Northeast USA base for the Summer with most weekends, trips with the Owners These owners really are an amazing family (American) Competitive salary + a nice bonus structure in place Medical/vision/dental Immediate start - The yacht is currently in Northeast USA Looking for an active, flexible, happy Chef to cater to this family (3 generations, including small grandchildren) The family are spontaneous with eating times/number of people eating, they need a chef who can prepare well and adapt quickly without issue Low key Owners - They mainly like to eat American style yummy food (burgers, BBQ style) occasionally with a Mediterranean twist Breakfast is usually the same for the family, lunch is always buffet style and dinner is usually plated Occasionally, one or twice a month in Newport, they will have additional guests for a dinner party, for a slightly more sophisticated menu (maximum 12 guests total) The crew (8) are active and like to keep fit with daily exercise/healthy food The crew's happiness is very important to the Owners, so crew cooking is important too. Valid documents required: STCW Food and Hygiene level 2/3 B1 visa if required (or US residency) Ships Cook Certificate preferred
