Seeking a upbeat, energetic, no drama, Chef for a busy private/charter 40m M/Y. Vessel is happy to consider a newer Chef to the industry or a Sous Chef that is ready to step into their own galley.
Culinary trained preferred, with at least 1 year yacht experience. Mature attitude/ responsible / dependable.
Team of 7 Crew total
Male due to cabin arrangements.
Southern California Summers/ Mexico Winters
A very active vessel that spends many weeks on anchor in remote areas of Mexico, and possibly further abroad.
Based in & out of San Diego until October-Quick cruise South to Mexico for November, and back to San Diego for a shipyard period in Southern California
Looking for clean, fresh, healthy food, family style cooking from a professional hand. Needs to be experienced, and happy provisioning in local Mexican markets, good meal planning and provisioning skills as we work in remote areas where we have no access for a week at a time.
We are a laid back team with a fairly casual owner but expect professional work ethics, that come naturally but also from some solid experience-
Absolute non smokers
B1/B2 visa in hand, vaccinated, STCW10, ENG1
Candidates in the US or close to will have first preference.
Start date: 7/21/2022
Salary:$7000- DOE with a raise after probation period.
Standard leave package with 1 roundtrip flight per year.
