We are seeking a motivated and professional Deckhand to join a private 120’ new build motor yacht based in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and be eager to contribute to a tight-knit, collaborative team. Key Responsibilities: • Daily exterior maintenance, washdowns, and teak care • Assist with docking, mooring, and tender operations • Stand wheelhouse and anchor watches as scheduled • Support other departments as needed • Uphold a professional, friendly presence while guests are onboard, including welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, and maintaining clean, guest-facing deck spaces • Assist with guest relations and ensure a smooth, enjoyable guest experience Requirements: • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Must be local to San Diego or willing to commute without travel/accommodation assistance • Must be available for local trips, including occasional trips to Catalina Island • Prior deckhand experience required • Tender driving skills a plus, but not essential • Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, and team-first attitude Team Culture: This is a team-oriented vessel with a positive, low-ego environment.
