Description
I am looking for a Bosun. This is a Full-Time position. This job starts ASAP. The position is in Dania Beach, FL, USA. Candidate must have one of the given visa(s): US Passport/GreenCard. The salary for this opportunity depends on experience. This is a United States of America flagged private vessel that is 145' to 175' (45 to 53 meters) in length.
Here are the qualifications needed for this job opening: Skills- Tender driving, passion for fishing, ability to manage the deck competently.
This is the likely itinerary for this vessel: Bahamas and back to Dania. We are looking for a Bosun willing to work on deck. ASAP. They do not need to be licensed. That said, we encourage getting licenses and will help our crew achieve their goal financially. We are “Private” and “US Flagged” ( under 300 GRT) and “ABS certified”. We do not charter. We are not MCA LY3, although I am compliant with international regulations pertaining to our 433 GT ITC. We like to run with 7 fulltime crew. We add more crew when necessary. We fish – our guests love to fish. And tow a 37’ Phenom center console. I love hunter gatherers. We are not a pretentious or showy group; there will be no epaulets worn. We value happy, helpful, neat and tidy people who do what they say and say what they mean. The owner values commitment and encourages training and self improvement.
